I've just been quickly browsing through the technology section of news.bbc.co.uk And found this link to "Wi-fi pioneers offer cheap router" I did a search on Google for "FON" and came up with FON. This really does look like a cool idea, If you have a Linksys or a Buffalo ADSL Router / Modem with wireless you can get there software and then share your connection with the world (OK any one local to you). If you don't have a Linksys or Buffalo they will sell you one for $/euro5. The idea looks really cool in that ensuring that no matter where you are in the world there is a hotspot; if they pull this off I think it will open the web to even more people. | View count: 332
